Chlorine tablets SPA 20g

With Chlorine Tablets SPA 20g you can disinfect the water in your jacuzzi, hot tub or swimming pool. The small chlorine tablet can be placed in a chlorine float or skimmer. The chlorine then slowly dissolves when it comes into contact with the water. This way you can easily dose chlorine in your water in a consistent manner. It is a much better alternative than liquid chlorine , which is very difficult to dose by hand.

The chlorine tablets are of very good quality and the tablets contain cyanuric acid. The 20g spa chlorine tablet is the smaller counterpart of the large 200g chlorine tablets . This is exactly the same product.

In combination with liquid PH minus and PH plus, pleasant SPA water is a certainty.

How many chlorine tablets should you dose?

First correct the pH value.

It is best to first adjust the pH value, the acidity of the pool, to 7.2 – 7.4. It is best to measure the pH accurately with Test Strips . If the pH is incorrect, the chlorine will not disinfect the pool water properly.

• You can increase the pH value with pH plus granules
• You can lower the pH value with pH minus granules

Then add the SPA 20G chlorine tablets for disinfection

Finally, after the pH value of the water in the pool is correct, you can add chlorine tablets. The recommended dosage is to add 10 spa chlorine tablets 20g per 30m³ of water. You can place this in the skimmer of the swimming pool or in a chlorine float. These chlorine pills dissolve slowly due to the circulation of the water.

Check the chlorine value regularly

You can measure the chlorine value with test strips. In warm weather, lots of sun, high water temperatures and frequent use of the swimming pool, this chlorine will reduce faster. The recommended amount is 1 to 2mg per liter (1 – 2ppm). The easiest and quickest way to measure the amount of chlorine in the swimming pool is with test strips.

Attention to cyanuric acid stabilizer

These chlorine tablets spa 20g contain cyanuric acid stabilizer. This stabilizer prevents the chlorine from being broken down by the sun. As a result, too high a concentration will block the action of the chlorine. Good alternative chlorine tablets are the HTH Chlorine Sticks 300g and the HTH Chlorine pastilles of 7g
