How does the Blozoen solar collector work?
The BLOZOEN solar collector is equipped with a wound heating tube Polyethylene. This is a compound that has the property of directly converting the ultra short wave radiation of the incident light into heat. As a result, both work with direct and indirect light, so that they also provide energy on a cloudy day.
Our Blozoen solar collectors are the qualitative alternative to the cheap ones solar collector bulbs.

System operation (see Technical Scheme)
The temperatures of the swimming pool water (1) and of the Blozoen solar collector (7) are continuously compared with each other. The control system (8) commands the solar collector pump (6). At that moment the circulation pump starts and pumps the pool water through the solar collector. This heating process only starts when sufficient energy is available. The non-return valves (9) ensure that the water certainly follows the right direction.
The pump sends the pool water directly through the solar collectors.
How many Blozoen solar collectors do you need?
The Blozoen collectors have a very high efficiency. That's why you place only 1/3 of the pool water surface in sun domes surface. Each BLOZOEN solar collector has a useful surface of 4.64m².
Calculation example required area solar domes:
- Swimming pool : 8 x 4 = 32m²
- 1/3 of this water surface : 10.7m²
- collector area = 4.64m²
- TOTAL NUMBER OF COLLECTORS : 10.7 / 4.64 = 2.29 pieces
- with an uncovered swimming pool: 3 collectors
- A swimming pool with solar slats : 2 collectors
In summary, you need 0.33m² of solar collectors per 1m² of swimming pool water surface. For a swimming pool covered with a solar-capturing cover, you can round this down, for a swimming pool that is not or only slightly covered, you can round this up.
