Why do we use hardwood for garden furniture?
Hardwood comes from South America, Central Africa or Asia. The color of this wood is somewhat darker than European wood such as pine or beech wood. Characteristic of hardwood is the long lifespan of 15 to 25 years. In general, you can let it age untreated. However, it is not unwise to treat it annually with wood oil to extend its life.
