HTH Flocfix cartridges or stockings
With HTH Flocfix cartridges or stockings dosing every 14 days in the skimmer, the pool water remains crystal clear. HTH flocculant is the most sold swimming pool product for crystal clear pool water. The floc fix cartridges weigh 125g and are packed per 10 stockings in 1 box of 1.25kg.
The flocculant bags keep your pool water nice and clear. The aim is to use this product PREVENTIVELY and regularly as soon as you notice a tiny bit of turbidity in the pool water.
These HTH flake cartridges are also suitable for use after a chlorine shock. A chlorine shock with HTH Chlorine granulate is needed if it pool water is green and you want to make it clear again.
How much HTH flake stockings should you dose?
We advise 1 to 2 bags of HTH Flocfix in the skimmer per 50m³ every 14 days. With this dosage you will notice that the pool water is much clearer. The HTH Flocfix cartridges place in the running water of the skimmer to catch the flakes nicely afterwards with the cartridge filter or the sand filter.
For example, if you have a built-up swimming pool, you can use one floating skimmer for above ground swimming pool assemble to use this product.
How does HTH flocculant work?

In the bags aluminum sulfate (coagulant). This product dissolves when you place it in the running water of the skimmer. This ensures that the dissolved impurities stick together and are collected in the sand filter. The operation of the sand filter will therefore improve. You place flocculant cartridges in the skimmer and slowly dissolve with gradual flocculation on the sand filter.
Shouldn't I use powder flocculant or liquid flocculant instead of the HTH Flocfix Cartridges?
Bee powder or liquid flocculant dosed directly into the pool you will getting instant flakes IN the pool. This makes for tedious work afterwards. After all, you now have to let the flakes settle and vacuum to the sewer to get all settled dirt particles out of the pool.
Flocculant cartridges are therefore more convenient because they Gradually dissolve on the sand filter. After a few days you backwash the sand filter and flush all impurities to the sewer.
The swimming pool robot cannot capture these flocs either. both with a sand filter and a filter of a swimming pool robot you will get a breakdown of the flakes.
liquid flocculant is mainly used in public swimming pools where it is continuously and automatically dosed before the sand filter.
