Pool ph dosing pump from Hayward
Pool pH Dosing pump for adjusting the acidity in private swimming pools. Easy to install automatic dosing pump. ALL-IN kit.
New generation pH dosing pump for private swimming pools
This dosing pump is a latest development from Hayward and specially made as a simple installation kit for private swimming pools. The pump controls the pH value (acidity) . By bus AQT liquid pH min you can regulate the pH value of the water without manual intervention. The reading is clear on the digital screen. The quality is better than the standard Hayward peristaltic dosing pumps.
The importance of the acidity for disinfection of swimming pool water
The pH value of the swimming pool water must be precisely adjusted to pH 7.2 – 7.3. This is necessary to obtain a proper functioning of the chlorine and thus a good disinfection of the swimming pool water.

Point of attention when installing the dosing pump
We advise to adjust the dosage of the acid (ph Min) AFTER the sand filter and AFTER the heating (heat pump or heat exchanger) te to install. This is because pH minus (acid) can loosen the dirt on the sand filter, after which it ends up in the swimming pool. This will cause cloudy water. The heat source can also be affected if you dose the acid for heating. GENERAL RULE so dose as close to the pool as possible, after the technical installation of the swimming pool. Preferably use sulfuric acid and not hydrochloric acid. Hydrochloric acid gives off fumes that affect all metal parts in the technical room.
