1) Passive winterization of the swimming pool.

First step: cleaning and adding winterfit products

• Clean the pool with a pool robot and the edges perfectly clean with products and a brush. (HTH Edge cleaningr)
• Leave it water bags to below the skimmer. So suck in your swimming pool water through the bottom suction and close the tap of the skimmers to prevent air from being sucked in. If you do not have a bottom vane suction you can use a submersible pump. Make sure there is no more water in the skimmer to prevent it from freezing. The pool water level will rise again due to the rain during the winter period. Check this regularly and make sure that your skimmer does not freeze to pieces. You can protect your skimmer with a gizzmo in the skimmer opening under the skimmer basket. A cheap alternative is a plastic bottle with sand in it, a piece of insulation or a tennis ball. This makes the swimming pool perfectly ready for winter.
• Joint wintering product to the pool water. (AQT winter fit)
• Let the water run circulate around for 5 hoursn suction through the bottom. If you don't have one, you must first add product, then circulate and then empty with a submersible pump.
• Switch your electrical cabinet or control uit.

Step two: Protect your installation and winterize your pool

• Leave your pool filter pump and drain the filter if they are in a room where it can freeze. This can be done by opening the drain point at the bottom of the pump and filter. Leave never chlorine tablets are in the skimmer when there is virtually no circulation. This creates a concentrated chlorine solution through it pool chlorine that runs into the pool and will discolor the liner under the skimmer.
