The Liquid Chlorine 20 liters is specifically intended for the disinfection of your swimming pool water and is used in automatic dosing systems.

Liquid chlorine 20 liters, chlor liquid or also chlorstabil is used to maintain the chlorine value of your swimming pool. This liquid chlorine can also be used for a chlorine shock treatment. Chlorstabil 299B is a recognized liquid chlorine product. The Liquid Chlorine is now available in handy 20 liter cans (instead of the former 25 liter cans under the name Chlorstabil 299B Liquid chlorine).

The chlorine is suitable for public swimming pools and SPAs. We also arrange transport for delivery of larger quantities. We use special rates for large quantities such as pallet quantities (12 or 24 pieces).

To deliver the buses to your home, we organize the transport for you. Due to the high weight of this product, the volume and the ADR legislation (purchase large quantity) for the transport of dangerous products, we charge an extra delivery cost of only 30€ (formerly 50 euros). The canisters of liquid chlorine and liquid pH min are LOST PACKAGING. The bus is included in the price. There is no need to exchange the buses afterwards. We also do NOT charge a guarantee for these buses.

CAN I USE LIQUID CHLORINE MANUALLY?

You could also manually pour Liquid Chlorine 20 liters into the swimming pool water, for example as a shock. However, it is very dangerous for splashing drops of product (eyes!!). Every small splash of product also causes a white spot or hole in your clothing. It is impossible to manipulate the product manually without damaging your clothing. The ideal, more suitable chlorine product for a manual pool water treatment are the chlorine tablets 200g.

Also keep in mind that Chlorine naturally degasses. There is a "vent cap" on the canister, which means that a small amount of product can leak from the canister. So also during transport it is best to provide protection in the car (a cloth or cardboard!).

IS LIQUID CHLORINE NOT CHEAPER THAN CHLORINE GRANULES?

This only seems cheaper because the concentration is much lower (13.5% compared to 69%). In addition, Liquid chlorine (replacement for Chlorstabil liquid chlorine) has a tendency to degrade if you store the product for too long (degassing). While e.g HTH Chlorine granulate has a much longer shelf life and is also much easier to dose in the swimming pool. An advantage is that liquid chlorine dissolves faster and therefore gives a better shock effect to the swimming pool water.

can liquid chlorine also be used for drinking water treatment?

Yes, that's possible. For the treatment and disinfection of drinking water, use liquid chlorine, taking into account the correct dosage. At the bottom of the label is a “B number”. This is the registration number with the Ministry of Health to be able to use the product as a disinfection/biocide.

TIP: Contrary to what the name of the product suggests, Chlorstabil is NOT stabilized liquid chlorine.
